High Desert Challenge Course

In the heart of Central Oregon where the Cascade Mountains meet the High Desert

About HDCC
The High Desert Challenge Course (HDCC) is an exciting and fun personal development and team building facility. The HDCC offers both high and low elements to meet a broad range of individual and group learning experiences. The HDCC high course is a static belay design. Although the perceived risk is high, participants are safely secured to a belay cable by seat harnesses, safety lines, and carabineers. The HDCC low course minimizes perceived risk for participants while its challenging set of obstacles maximizes individual and team experiences. The HDCC high and low courses can be custom designed to achieve group goals and objectives. The HDCC facility is ideal for larger groups. It needs fewer facilitators and can accommodate up to thirty people at one time. Add MOEMENTUM, LLC to your HDCC package for the ultimate leadership and productivity experience. Book your conference needs with the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center

HDCC programs can be designed to meet a number of educational, organizational, and recreational goals. The HDCC offers a mix of physical and  emotional challenges. Participants confront  these challenges through a program philosophy called challenge-by-choice. HDCC participants build on their character through safe and meaningful opportunities for respect, caring, responsibility, trust, and fairness. Some of the expected outcomes include confidence, caring/compassion, connection, competence, and character.
