High Desert Challenge Course

In the heart of Central Oregon where the Cascade Mountains meet the High Desert

Exceeding Your Educational, Organizational, and Recreational Needs

Imagine your employees, staff, students, or clientele pushing themselves to exceed their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual capabilities

The High Desert Challenge Course (HDCC) was built with this in mind. Participants can learn to master the HDCC elements, explore their independence as decision makers, build closer bonds to peers and adults, and understand what it means to be generous to themselves, others, and their communities.

The HDCC is a state-of-the art facility capable of total integration into your school's, organization's, or business's curriculum, character education, or long term productivity goals.

Funding for the development of the HDCC was made possible by the following contributors:

  • Jeld-Wen Foundation
  • Trust Management Service
  • Cow Creek Umpgua Indian Foundation
  • Bend Research
  • Oregon 4-H Foundation
  • Deschutes County 4-H Leaders' Association
  • Deschutes County Economic Development Grant
